Can I submit service requests?
Simply shoot me an email with the concern, and I'll be more than happy to take a look at the issue. I will diagnose the problem, help you resolve it as soon as possible.
How quickly will service requests be completed?
It depends on the amount of changes received per request. After receiving the change requests, I will confirm the turnaround time. Usually all changes are completed with 24 to 48 business hours.
How will I know what updates were done?
You will receive a monthly report via email, with an itemized list of WordPress, plugin, and theme updates. In addition, if there were any manual updates performed (such as correcting HTML), this will also be noted in the monthly report.
Can I count on you if my site gets malware or is hacked?
The Sucuri monitoring will alert me to any items of concern, including malware injection or malicious redirects. This will allow me to take the appropriate course of action to remedy the malicious code injection in your WordPress file. I have successfully resolved malware on all of my sites, in addition to several client sites in the past, so I am confident that I can take care of the integrity and reputation of your site as well.
What happens to unused monthly development hours?
Monthly development hours must be used each month and do not carry over. This ensures that all maintenance plan clients fairly receive the same level of care. If you have more complicated needs in any give month, simply reach out with your concerns via email, and we can decide on the best plan of action for your site.
Can I have multiple sites with a single plan?
Only one single site shall be maintained per plan. If you have more sites you would like covered, let me know and we can set up a second plan for a second site.
How do you accept payments?
Website maintenance plans are billed quarterly, and are payable via credit card or PayPal.
What if I need to cancel my plan?
Your website maintenance contract is valid for one (1) year, however, if you decide you wish to take care of the updates and maintenance of your site, you will need to allow fourteen (14) days' notice to terminate the contract and pause billing. You will receive a document of tasks and timelines you will be responsible for if you wish to maintain your site on your own. Upon receiving the document, you'll have three (3) business days to confirm cancellation.
Do the plans cover site speed optimization for SEO?
Google has publicly stated that they factor site speed into their rankings. If you're interested in a site speed optimization audit, please inquire about the optional add-on (one-time fee).
While the web maintenance plans are primarily for recent clients, I’d love to work with you to optimize your site before regular monthly maintenance updates start.
